NTN Beta Jacket

One of my favorite tech wear jackets from Japan this year, the NTN Beta Jacket has a minimalist design with a loose cropped silhouette and an off-center zipper introduces more natural elements to the jacket; a key tenant of NTN's design philosophy. 

Included in the middle is dot snap fastener that allows the wearer to quickly close their jacket without needing to zip up. 

The jacket's material is sourced from Italy's Olmetex Brand that is a water repellent and surprisingly breathable fabric that is perfect for rainy days. 

NTN arrived on the scene in 2023 and was started by Nobuaki Takahashi, who previously worked as a one of SACAI's Chief Patterners for about six years. They take much of their inspiration from nature itself, employing many colors that you would find in your natural environment. The want to emphasize the silhouette and texture of their pieces while embracing their functionality as well. Keep an eye on this brand. Big things are ahead for them.
